Houston Museum of Natural Sciences
The HMNS opened a new Paleontology wing in June of 2012. I was stuck in town for a weekend and visited the new
Hall of Paleontology, expecting lots of kiddy dinosaur displays etc. I was flabbergasted by the collection of
trilobites. Apparently there is a local guy, Samuel E. Stubbs who has one of the world's premiere private collections
of bugs. He has loaned the museum at least a hundred or so fantastic specimens from the world over.
If you want to see the real deals, come to Houston. Its better than a book!
So.. In no certain order... Sam's Bugs!
