PROTOTYPES!

I put an ad in the local paper and a former Mattel employee responded. These are some of the cars which he had stashed away. The 442 is unusual due to the dark interior. The Indy cars are like those used in the 1969 catalog. They are characterized by the white interiors and clear glass. The Maserati has darker glass then the standard issue but is otherwise indistinguishable.





The Power Rocket, I acquired at the 1997 Hot Wheels Convention in Atlanta. The Fathom This came from the 1998 Hot Wheels Convention in Anaheim.




The Turbolence and Track T, I acquired at the 1999 Hot Wheels Convention in Michigan.




The Arachnorod and XS-ive, I acquired at the 2001 Nationals and the 2001 Convention.

I put them into signed blister packs just for fun.
