My Fossil Collection

I have collected fossils since I was a small child. My interest was piqued by the fossils I found on my grandparent's farm in Brown County, Ohio. The farm is underlain by the fossiliferous limestones of the Cincinnati Arch formation which spans the Ohio River Valley near the city of Cincinnati. Many of the fossils in my collection were found in these world famous Ordovician deposits.

I do not generally buy fossils. I find it immensely more satisfying to find them in situ.
Almost all of the fossils pictured herein are those I have found.
